No. The short courses are open to everyone, including safety officers already working in industry who want one specific skill, and candidates who have never studied with us before. You can book a single course and nothing else.
A short course runs for one to three days on a single subject, such as permit to work or root cause analysis, and carries a GIFSE certificate of completion. A diploma or certificate programme runs for months, covers the whole field, and leads to a qualification from an awarding body. Students often do both: the diploma for the qualification, then short courses for the specific skills a job asks for.
Browse the short coursesThe fee is set by the length of the course: 499 rupees for a one day course, 999 rupees for two days and 1,299 rupees for three days. That is the amount payable per person, with nothing to add on top. Every fee is printed next to its course above.

A GIFSE certificate of completion, issued by us when you finish the course. These short courses are designed and taught by GIFSE, so the certificate is ours rather than an award from an external body. If you need a qualification from an awarding body such as NEBOSH, OTHM or MSBTE, those are our longer programmes.

That is the opposite of our longer qualifications, which are classroom programmes at the Siwan and Barharia branches. Your trainer sends you the joining link once your booking is confirmed.
