Fire and industrial safety courses

ADIFS, our Advanced Diploma in Fire and Industrial Safety Management, is the programme most new students join. It runs across six safety books and includes the full NEBOSH IG1 syllabus, so it covers both fire and industrial safety from the ground up. If you want something shorter first, First Aid and the IOSH / OSHA 30-hour programmes are good starting points. Our counsellors will talk you through which fits your background.

It depends on the programme. The diplomas and short certifications are open to most students leaving school or college, while the degree-level qualifications such as the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma expect existing experience in health and safety. Please call and tell us your qualifications, and we will confirm what you are eligible for.

Duration and batch dates vary by programme, and new batches start through the year. Call the institute for the current schedule rather than relying on a date on a web page.

Classroom fees depend on the programme, the batch and its duration, so we quote them individually rather than publishing one figure that would be wrong for most people. Call any of our numbers and a counsellor will confirm the current fee and exactly what it includes.

The students’ kit is included: a bag, notebook, pen, T-shirt and six safety books. So are the fire practical, the site visit, computer classes, English spoken classes, interview preparation, mock interviews and NEBOSH IGC preparation. External examination fees charged by an awarding body such as NEBOSH are separate and are confirmed when you enrol.

Online subscription plans for the recorded course library can be paid for on the site by card, UPI or netbanking. For classroom programmes, please ask the office about payment options and instalments when you enrol.

We do not promise anyone a job, and you should be wary of any institute that does. What we do is prepare you for hiring and then help you apply: free interview preparation, mock interviews with working safety officers, site visits and English spoken classes. Our alumni are working with employers including JSW Steel, L&T Construction, Reliance Industries, Mahindra Automotive, NTPC and Adani Cement, and you can see the record for yourself.

Our alumni work in roles such as safety officer, safety supervisor and HSE engineer, across construction, manufacturing, cement, steel, power and oil and gas sites. Which roles are open to you depends on the qualification you complete and your own experience.

Qualifications like the NEBOSH International General Certificate are recognised internationally and are commonly asked for in HSE roles overseas. Working abroad also depends on visas, employer sponsorship and your experience, none of which any institute controls. Talk to us about the qualification, and treat any promise of a foreign job as a warning sign.

Yes. Every GIFSE certificate carries a QR code and a unique certificate number. Scanning the code, or typing the number on our site, shows the name, course and issue date we hold on record, so an employer can confirm it in seconds.

It depends on the programme. Some are awarded by external bodies, such as NEBOSH for the IGC and Level 6 Diploma, or MSBTE for the ADIS diploma. Others are issued by the institute. Ask us which applies to the course you are considering, and we will tell you plainly.

Teaching is classroom-based at our Siwan and Barharia branches, on a fully air-conditioned campus with smart-board digital classes. Recorded material is also available online through a subscription if you want to revise at home.
